I am extremely excited about my first ever solo exhibition in Norway, with the project "You are to me what I was to her" at Kunstbanken Art Centre in Hamar Norway. The exhibition opens Saturday 14th of January 2017 and will be running until 26th of February 2017. If you are in Norway around that time, it would be wonderful to see you at the opening
I am very pleased to be among the selected for this year RSA Open at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh. It will be my first ever time showing work in Scotland. The exhibition is running from 28th of November 2015 until 15th of February.
I am pleased to invite you you to the private view of the exhibition Contemporary Times at Metamatic:taf Art space in Athens, Greece Thursday the 24th of September 20:30.
Contemporary Times is dealing with the holy institution of society as a structural form, consisted of a number of interpersonal relationships which evolve at a chaotic ongoing pace. It links ‘’Contemporary Society’’ with ‘’Contemporary Art’’ creating a cerebral explosive mixture. The exhibition intends to challenge the conventional approach of society as an everyday framework where human beings are created, grow and finally survive. The battleground has been set; Contemporary art is the main and sole weapon.
The exhibition showcases works by ten artists from eight countries, all members of the experimental platform 9th Art Wave. It is an arts collaborative created in London in 2012 by Panos Antonopoulos and currently counting sixteen artists: visual artists, photographers, street artists and performers.
The exhibition will run until 18th of October.
A very big thank you to the Norwegian Embassy in Athens for institutional support for this exhibition!

The Other Art Fair
Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who came and said hello to me at The Other Art Fair in London. I was thoroughly enjoying talking to everyone, some of the 12 000, that visited the fair! Being there was inspiring and, I must admit, educational as the feedback and conversations had taught me a lot about how my photographs read and can be interpreted. THANK YOU for sharing your views with me!
The fair also provided me with some interesting reviews in the media; my work spanning from being described as 'witty self-portraits' by the Financial Times to 'grotesque and disgusting' by a printed newspaper in Norway. This shows that by challenging well established conventional ideas and confronting traditional views of one of society's sentimental pillars such as motherhood, which my project 'You are to me what I was to her' (2011) can be said to be doing, you are stepping into something of an artistic mine field and your work is suddenly seen as being very controversial. Personally I think this underlines the fact that there is a great need for doing just that. For that reason I love and recommend the current exhibition at the Photographer's Gallery in London, 'Home Truths', which takes a close look at this topic.
Others that liked and shared my work in their reviews:
Apollo Int Art Magazine , Volt Magazine, OneStopArts, Billetto London, RadioLab London, 9thArtWave
If you are in Norway, my work is currently part of the regional contemporary art exhibition 'Trøndelags Utstillingen' and the next venue up is Oppdal Cultural House, exhibition opening the 28th of October, before it travels to Nord-Trøndelag Art Museum the 11th of January 2014.
On the 25th of November I've been invited to hold a talk about my work at Cyan Gallery in Oslo.
Hope to see you there!
